Memphis 94 @ Oklahoma 101
They had this game in the bag until the final minutes. Terrific buzz kill. Sadly I only saw them lose that lead at the end. For this team to beat OKC Thunder Rudy Gay has to outplay him and I don't think we'll ever see that day. Most annoying was I had a Texas alum all up in my face about it last Friday. Oh well!

Memphis 80 @ Boston 98
I had bought overpriced tickets for this game the moment the lockout season was announced. I had to go to Memphis this weekend for a funeral actually so I missed these games. I guess it's a small consolation that I missed one of the worst Grizzlies games of the season only behind the 40 point blowout at Chicago on New Year's Day where ZBO suffered his season ruining injury. Certainly this team is not cutting the mustard without Zach Randolph. I like what Marreese Speights brings to this team for 12 minutes a game only.
Grizzlies in Game 24:
| Player | eStat | μ = mean difference |
| Mike Conley | -1 | μ = -3.138 |
| Sam Young | -2 | μ = -3.155 |
| Rudy Gay | +0 | μ = -3.259 |
| Marreese Speights | -20 | μ = -23.638 |
| Marc Gasol | +3 | μ = +0.793 |
| 6th (O.J. Mayo*) | +3 | μ = +2.983 |
It's hard to tell how awful Marc Gasol was from these stats. The entire team laid an egg though. They must have been rooting for the Giants – serves them right.
